Asus 1201n Ubuntu 10.4 AMD 64 4 GB of ram installed 3.2 GB available?

I have sent this to Asus technical support but the only answer is that
32 bit OS doesn't support 4 GB of ram but I'm running a 64 bit OS and
still only see 3,2 GB available. Any ideas why only part of the ram is
available? Is the Nvidia card using a portion? The hardware info looks
like the following:

After googling some more combinations of the issue it appears that the
Nvidia Ion gpu does claim 0.75 gb of ram when 4 GB's are installed and
0.25 GB when only 2 GB's are installed. Strange that tech support did
not have that info readily available. According to the specs the 1201N
will take 8 GB of ram but so far the BIOS will only support 4 GB. Maybe
they will up grade the BIOS in the future and hopefully by then the 4 GB
chips will have come down in price.
