Hi,

It's that time of year again. The annual LUG Christmas party will be
instead of the January meeting.

The weekend after the first Thursday of the month is January 8th/9th. I
suggest we try to hit one of those dates.

Where do we want to go?

What do we want to do?

The formula we have done before seems to work well. Do we want to change
it?

Thoughts?
Ideas?

Lets try to get most of the decisions made by the December meeting.

Wasn't the last one at Jon's place?  I really liked that, and I think one of the things that made it more social was that the space was properly sized so that there wasn't enough room for everyone just to find a corner and hide.  Oh, and this year I can bring the full Rock Band 2 set.  :)

I would be open to hosting once again (with SO's approval of course) if we can find something that fits in our schedule.

thanks

Thanks for volunteering again. Last year, it worked out great for
everybody. We won't have to do this on a Thursday, it could be a Friday
or Saturday if this works out better. Tell you wife we'd all really
really appreciate it if she gave the ok. (^_^)

BTW, remind me, I sure I still have one of your spoons I need to give back.

Or the weekend of the 15th/16th. Might give everyone a little more time
from the holidays, and something to look forward too for the next 1-2
months of winter.

I hope Jon's again

I like the Pot-luck, and Garage Band. Perhaps we could bring some more
games (card/etc) for those that like something different.

Would anybody like bring a "white" elephant gift this year? Possible
idea to re-gift ;) It is really fun to see people exchange cheesy gifts.

Well after consulting the calendar (and the SO) it looks like the only night in January that will work for us to host is Friday the 8th.

I don't know if anything was discussed at last night's meeting, but just wanted to offer. If another location was agreed upon, no worries!

Maybe we can play this at this year's party:

Jon,
We we're all hoping that we could still host the party at your house.
I think Friday night, 8th would be just fine. And if there is anything
we could do to help out to make it easier, let us know.

Do I have a second?
