Just a shout a about the Birmingham Linux User Group http://sb.lug.org.uk/

They meet on the first Thursday of every month at about 7:30 at
Birmingham University. The meetings usually have a speaker or tutorial
and then we go to the pub afterwards (how every good meeting should
end!). Previous speakers include employees of Canonical, Myth TV,
tutorials on Open Street Map and a presentation on Art and Open Source
from yours truly!

The next meeting is entitled 'Debugging is difficult, so why do we do
it?'

You might also want to check out the Tech Event Calendar. It's a
public Google Calendar, just search for tech...@googlemail.com

Hope to see you there!

Did anyone get to this? Is there any recording, or presentation
available?
I got caught up in work, and forgot to go.

I managed to get to this and it was rather great, despite being
drenched in rain.

Oddly enough the guy presenting asked for it not to be filmed :-(
There may be slides available but within the coming week. I may have a
word with sbLUG about making these resources more publicly available.
