Andrew, can you load conductive thread into it? Hence sew a circuit.

I think I remember reading a review somewhere of the different
conductive threads available (in the US, probably) and their differing
suitability for machine use. A theoretical "yes" may need to be
tempered with a practical one...

I like where this is going :) I did think about making some resistive
thread by blending carbon with a suitable binding plastic, but I
haven't tried it yet. I'd love to be able to sew a rheostat, or make a
fabric that will heat up when connected to a battery.
