Reviving Bapu Ghat:

Efforts are on for the past few years to make Bapu Ghat in Langar House, Hyderabad to be a Sevagram/Sabarmati like ashram and be a Centre for all Gandhiji ashrams in AP. Whether you love or hate Gandhiji, this is an opportunity to know him better, more so about many freedom fighters and social activists of AP, the rich heritage of patriotism and sacrifice of our ancestors and about the unknown/forgotten places of importance. Work on this can be like boarding a Time Machine, understanding the immediate past and implementing the time tested principles in Present to give a Present of Peace to future generations. This is a platform for likeminded groups.

Many groups and individuals who are interested in social work and pledge to spend two days in a month for social work are the members of this group.

Teams

There are four teams in the group: Education, Health, RTI and Organizational Visits. There would be subteams in each team activity wise, area wise. The participant groups should nominate one volunteer for each team from their group.

Guidelines to post to this group

1. Should post the details related to social work and the topics that affect us.

2. Can post the details of any organization or any group or any individual who are into social work

3. Do not post any request for help

4. BOSF is for sharing information not to act on any help request

5. You can still forward the cases that require help to particular category members. For example, if you need help to support the education of a poor child, you can send the details of the child to the key contact of the Education group.
