Hi everyone,

I am still a bit of a newbie to this site, and I can't quite work out what
RFI stands for, and in what context it should be used. Can someone please
explain for me?

Request for Information.

Most commonly used when you're heading somewhere and want some birding info
on the location and interesting areas around it.

G'day Luke
The letters stand for Request For Information-RFI and like Alistair says
used when someone is off to foreign parts (or anywhere >2 kms from home
in my case!)

Cheers

Request for Information. It should all make sense now.
