Birders,

I'm going to go out and look for Swift parrots this weekend, somewhat
of a bogey bird for me. Not really sure where to start, probably
somewhere around Edwin's sightings around Graystanes or Seven Hills.
Information on recent sightings are greatly appreciate.

Hi Evan

Try Nurragingy Reserve in Doonside. They were there all afternoon when I was
there on a family picnic on Mother's Day. they were on the western side of
the lake (on the opposite side the lake of the function hall). If you don't
see them there, drive around the general area with window's down and listen
out for them. I may have also heard them at home on the Anzac long weekend
and will not be surprised if they are around Greystanes or Seven Hills again
this year.

Once you know their call and tune in to them, you find that they are fairly
regular in parts of Sydney.

cheers!

Edwin
