WTNT sightings from Thurs 31/12/2008:
O700 Single bird whilst driving through Beerwah,SEQ unable to stop to check for more
1400 Three birds at Godwin Beach (near Bribie Is) flying moderately high in advance of storm.Birds didn't hang around, didn't appear tp be feeding.

I've just uploaded a few pictures of seabirds from 4 pelagics I did from North / South Islands back in December 2009 - it includes various species of Albatross, Petrels (inc. Westlands, Black, Cook's and Pycrofts), Shearwaters, Storm Petrels, Fairy Prions and Grey Ternlets.

The Pycroft's pictures are interesting for comparison with the adjacent Cook's.
