Wouldn't it be better to encourage people to create tickets on github,
here:  https://github.com/ialbert/biostar-central/issues ?

This way, the issues are open, so I:
  - can go there first and find out if anyone has already reported my issue
  - comment on issues that others have reported
  - track the status of issues that I report or that I'm interested in
