To Whom it may Concern:

I am a senior Biology major at Hiram College in Ohio. I am expecting to
receive my B.A. in June of 1995. I plan on going into veterinary medicine
and would like to gain some more experience in the field. My current plans
are to specialize in marine animals (do not let that turn you off, I am NOT
a "whale hugger"!) in the wild. In this manner, I believe I can still do
my own research while practicing medicine. I know it may sound odd and maybe
extremely difficult to do when in a private practice, but I believe it can be
done.

I have behavioral research experience of my own, one project of which was
a behavioral analysis of the wrinkled hornbill, Aceros corrugatas, which I
initiated while working at Sea World of Ohio this past summer. I am looking
for marine experience and/or research. I am an intelligent and creative
person that works well both alone and in groups. If you know of someone
that is looking for an assistant or of any job openings in this area, I would
appreciate it if you could contact me at my e-mail address. I can send out
any appropriate documentation as quickly as possible, as I have both e-mail
and a fax at my disposal. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Darrin Kortyka
