The Botany Department,
University of Wisconsin-Madison, invites applications for a
tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR to begin as early as August, 2003. We
seek an individual who uses innovative approaches to study significant
questions in the field of PLANT STRUCTURE (which may range from the
cell to organismal level). The successful applicant will be expected to
develop a nationally competitive research program and will have ample
opportunities to form productive collaborations within the large and
strong community of plant biologists on the Madison campus. Teaching
responsibilities include an undergraduate course in plant structure
(anatomy/morphology/development) and contributions to teaching at the
introductory and/or graduate level.
