November 18-22, 2013 in Puerto Varas, Chile

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

We are pleased to announce registration is now open for the Second International Symposium on the Nitrogen Nutrition of Plants (http://www.nitrogen2013.cl). The conference will begin on the evening of Monday, November 18 and end at noon Friday, November 22. The conference venue will be Hotel Patagónico in Puerto Varas, Chile.

The goals for this meeting are to review progress in N nutrition, genomics, systems biology, signaling and use efficiency in plants. The conference will feature invited keynote speakers from a wide range of backgrounds and research areas as well as speakers selected from submitted abstracts.

The meeting format will include seven oral sessions and two poster sessions. Each oral session will include invited speakers and speakers selected from submitted abstracts. For this reason, abstracts from accomplished junior and senior investigators are warmly invited.

Puerto Varas is a short one-hour flight away from Santiago. It is a beautiful tourist town in the southern lake district of Chile with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and visits to national parks, glaciers and hot springs. Puerto Varas is the gateway to the Chilean Patagonia.
