Dear colleague, thank you to insert my announcment to Drosophila Community.

Postdoctoral Position in Paris:

A postdoctoral position is available to participate in ongoing studies of
the brain structures implicated in the genesis of locomotor activity, in
Drosophila. The project could concern either the structure/function
relationship of the central complex, and especially the ellipsoid-body
and/or the characterization of the neurons located in the pars
intercerebralis, which are responsible for the sexual dimorphism in
locomotor activity. The project will combine neuroanatomy, genetic and
molecular analysis as well as behavioral analysis. The Postdoctoral
Position (CNRS - Chercheur Associé) (restricted to a Non-French citizen) is
available for one year (with possibility of prolongation) and should start
about at the 1er January 2001. The salary will be in the range of 11000
francs (~1680 €) per month (social insurance included).
