Announcing the IDA 2013 Frontier Prize: 1000 Euros (sponsored by KNIME)

IDA 2013 focusses on complex real-world problems. To celebrate the 12th IDA Symposium (London, UK, 17-19 Oct) we will award the IDA Frontier Prize to the most visionary contribution. The prize consists of a plaque and a cheque for 1000 Euros (sponsored by KNIME).

In 2010 we refocused our call for papers to those that dealt with complex real-world problems. This resulted in a wide ranging series of talks about many important and emerging problems. In 2013 we continue this tradition, looking for "first look" papers that might elsewhere be considered preliminary but contain exciting, potentially high impact research.
