Hi Marc,
We're glad we were able to get the fix out to you quickly. Since then, we've done even more by launching a new version of the "Gene expression/activity chart" plugin, including the much requested Correlation Search feature. (
http://biogps.blogspot.com/2009/11/correlation-search.html ) Let us know what you think!
For being the first to have reported this bug, we'd also like to offer you one of our BioGPS mascots. They are our "thank you" to the community for helping us keep bugs like this at bay. (

Thanks!

Subject: [BioGPS] bug for accessing gene reports in BioGPS with internet explorer
Hi !
I have been unable to get the gene report to work on BioGPS for three days now, using internet explorer.
The middle windows for gene expression data keeps advertising "loading" and nothing happens, for any gene, even for genes that I have looked for before.
Otherwise, the gene names are identified correctly in the left window, as well as the description of the gene and its annotation on the right window.
Everything looks like the program cannot link anymore the names of the genes to the corresponding expression data.
This occurred on two different computers on two different locations.
In both cases, an error is reported in the lower bar of the internet explorer windows which states upon clicking:
'Line 8
Character: 36556
Error: Unable to perform the operation due to the following error: 80020101
Code: 0
URL:
http://biogps.gnf.org'
(see the printed screen image below).
Can you please help?
Thanks,
Best regards,
Marc Dalod.
