Description: Biochar Ontario is a group of individuals with a strong interest in Biochar applications in Ontario. Biochar is charcoal derived from biomass used for agriculture, and can significantly increase soil fertility, reduce fertilizer run-off, reduce NOx emissions, and is a stable long-term carbon sink.
