2012 US Biochar Conference Call for Papers!!

The Board of Directors of the Sonoma Biochar Initiative, is now open to organizations and individuals to submit an abstract of your work in Biochar for the upcoming USBI national conference at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park.

�The 2012 USBI Conference is to be held from July 29th to August 1st in the center of Sonoma County�s world-class wine country.

The two [2] areas of focus are on:
1. the practical use and production of biochar at the community level and
2. what will be needed to bring biochar into the mainstream. This includes economic models and marketing strategies, policy innovations, agricultural implementation techniques, cutting edge soil science, etc.
