Alliance and Chris Winter, Executive Director of the

There are billions of dollars to be saved in Ontario's energy plan and I invite you to some and hear how.

The Earth Day Colloquium will take place Friday, April 13th from� and promises to showcase the latest research and innovation in environment & sustainability.
�This multi-disciplinary, conference-style program, offers a broad range of current research topics in the sciences, social sciences, engineering, business, policy, and management.
�All presentations are open to the public.
In addition to a diverse range of student research presentations, the Earth Day Colloquium, organized by graduate students in the Environment and Sustainability Program (E&S), is also proud to bring you an exciting line up of distinguished invited speakers:
Acclaimed history professor, Dr. Michael Egan of McMaster University, will launch this year�s Colloquium on Thursday, April 12th, with an intimate workshop on �No Nature: Uncertainty, Agnotology, and the Science of the Environmental Crisis�.
�This workshop will be the only presentation of the Colloquium where space is limited and registration is mandatory.
�It will run from 2 � 3:30 PM, followed by Dr. Egan�s open, public keynote address at 4:30 PM (NCB 114) and a reception for the E&S community at the UWO Grad Club starting at 6 PM.
�All other speakers will give their address on Friday.

Mike Atkinson. My main focus is effective teaching in a large class format. The goal is to try to understand what works and why.
Art Fidler. Raised in Strathroy by parents who loved sports and theatre, my other inspirations as a kid were my piano teacher, Marguerite Johnston, who persisted in helping me learn to sing on key (or close), Canada�s musical genius, Don Wright, an old Strathroy boy, who came back to Colborne St. Public School, and helped me and 2 friends to form a performance group called 2 Sharps and a Flat (me as the Flat), and my cool high school Latin teacher, Phil Sparling, who gave us the faith that he really cared about us, and who put on Gilbert & Sullivan operettas with big casts of high school kids, way back in the 1950�s.
Kadie Ward is the Director of Marketing and Communications for the London Economic Development Corporation where she works to enhance the economic prosperity of her community.�

20 Minute London Makeover: The 20 Minute London Makeover was launched to allow the business community to demonstrate their pride outside of their buildings and into their corporate neighbourhoods. It was a great success!

The Annual Coves Clean Up will be held on Apr. 21 at 9 am.� Join us for the Annual Coves Clean up.� Meeting place will be the same as previous years in the parking lot in Greenway Park.

Good Green Jobs Conference.� This Conference is for all those interested in Green Jobs in the London Area. Hosted by the London & District Labour Council with funding assistance provided by the City of London (environmental Programs) and support from the Workers Health and Safety Centre. Some registration spots are available for unwaged.
