bike forum 2008

Hi guys,
there is a fresh news from Toulouse:
we have decided to do the bike forum in Toulouse the weekend 13,14,15 june this year.
We just voted, we'll meet each other to implement the forum every thursday night now on.
The forum, we already know this at least, will be in two differents spots in Toulouse whom are the two workshop of the association.

We hope that Olivier will be free as a bird before the forum,maybe for the Ciemmona too. For that it would be cool if that would be at 31may-1june for me and him in particular.

We are thinking about a concert for the saturday night and friday. We still didn't start up with the program but there would be some conferences and workshops, almost as in Rome last year. I am having plenty of ideas about it, I always have a notebook in my pocket...
Each volonteer from any country is warmly welkom, I also have to talk about the international civil service to the others (as the guys in Rome did) and focus us first on the energies to be ables to balance wishes and possible things to do.
I will try to keep doing some report on every week meeting to keep the link up.
Suggestions and questions welcome.

here in rome we are going to discuss the forum tonight at the
collective, we will let you know.

i will be travelling to belgium the second week of march. im planning
to meet our frineds there and see what tey think this year.

Gerben, Sèbastien, si vous me lisez, je vais arriver a bruxelles la
deuxieme semaine de mars...
j'aimerai venir vous trouver aux ateliers :)

je passerai aussi à paris, ou j'ai l'intention d'aller trouver
l'atelier de récup et voir si eux aussi sont interessés au forum de
mai.

we were thinking of coming to toulouse with bicycles to give away
after the forum is finished to those who have difficulties finding
bikes in their city... i remeber danielo telling me there were very
few bikes to find in granada. this could be a nice occasion. we bring
bikes, you take them with you to go back :)

we've been talking about it tonight too, we asked for the spot to do it and we are also thinking deeply about the organisation: we think that we would need to get more informations about how many people would come, what (bikes, stuff, cameras and video-cameras, pedaling washing machines, solar cooking devices and more..) would these people (you indeed) bring with them (you, once more) to be able to manage the place needed to host all of you properly.
Any kind of idea is welcome and useful to improve our project...so the brainstorming chellenge is officially open!
Please spam this e-mail to all of you friends/contacts, also until you risk to lose their friendship: we need to pass the info. As soon as possible we should build up a website or just a simple page to exchange informations.

i have finished upgrading our workshops site. we could just like last
year host it there and buy just a redirect dominion... i guess it
would be easier.

our workshop 's site is now ciclofficina.homelinux.org
soon there will be the english version too
