Check out the info below....
This is a great opportunity. I checked and found out this is open to
residents of the EcoDistrict and a few more (call to check). Here’s a
way to learn some great bike stuff, support Trips for Kids and get
some bike stuff.
CABA meeting on Tuesday at Kickstand. We’ll ride afterwards at 8 from
Kickstand. Come to the meeting, ride or both. Bundle up. At least 3
layers to keep warm, with gloves and maybe a hat. Here’s the link.

If you ever wanted to ride without sweating, now’s the time.
Ride safe,
Pam

EcoDistrict (Villa Heights, Belmont, Optimist Park), winner of
Charlotte’s “Neighborhood Energy Challenge” has teamed up with our
neighborhood bike recyclery “Trips for Kids” to offer residents of all
ages 2 fun, FREE bike classes beginning in October! Complete both 2
hour classes and receive a FREE bike helmet, light kit and lock.
THE DETAILS:
2 classes equal one “course” and must be taken in sequence as a pair
(you may not show up one week and again a month or two later). Class
space is limited to 6 participants per class and run 2 hrs. in
length. The classes run from 6-8pm on the Wednesdays listed below.
Just bring yourself (and a friend?)… no bicycle needed!
If you register for specific dates, please make every effort to attend
the classes, as the Ecodistrict will be invoiced for your absence and
others who want to attend will be unable to register. Upon completion
of the second class, you will be rewarded with a free bike helmet,
light kit and lock! It’s easy as riding a bike! Hate that your
