Possible Project Funding    

 The following are possible sources of funding for Bike Richmond projects. 


Bikes Belong provides grants up to $10,000  for bike facilities and advocacy. Their website has a lot of useful related information about the criteria they use, and examples of past successful grant applications.  


General Mills Foundation awards 50 yearly grants of $10,000 to community-based groups that develop creative ways to help youth adopt a balanced diet and physically active lifestyle.


Indiana's Safe Routes to Schools program has grants which reimburse cities up to $75,000 for education, enforcement, evaluation and encouragement activities.

I recently mentioned the $75,000 grant opportunity provided by
Indiana's Safe Routes to School program. Today I have also added a
link to our funding page for the General Mills Foundation, which has
$10,000 grant for kid-focused healthy lifestyle initiatives.
