Bike Advocate meeting at 12:00pm Saturday, January 31st

There will be a meeting for bikes-as-transportation advocates on
Saturday, January 31st at 12:00pm. We'll be meeting at the Warehouse
Cafe, a new culinary experience that's located in the same building as
the Cycling and Fitness Warehouse.

The general agenda of the meeting will be to discuss current projects,
our skills and interests, network, and see what efforts might make
sense to take on as group projects.

Project discussions will include:

Bicycle safety classes to be offered at Townsend Center in the spring,
bike lanes, bike racks, bike paths, bike maps, the National Road
Heritage Trail project, and a Richmond Community Bike project. A
representative of the Earlham Bike Co-op has been invited as well.

Everyone will have a few minutes to discuss efforts they may be
leading or skills and interests that we have to apply.

If you can't make this meeting, there will be future opportunities for
group meetings, or one-on-one meetings can also be arranged. I'll also
post a summary report here sometimes afterwards, and we can continue
discussions online as well.
