If we will compare Islam, Hinduism and Christianity :
Old testament had contained few violent verses : such as - stoning disobedient sons.
Jesus came and he brought the peaceful non-violence messages of 'New testament' , 'which was timely and withstood the demand of tolerance in the 21st century . Given equal rights to men and women. As a prophet, Jesus himself was peaceful man.
'Srimad Bhagbad Gita' - was told by Lord Sri Krishna with in the same context of war (like Quaran) and the Lord justified the 'war against Evil', after he himself had failed to get 5 villages for Pandavas from Duryadhana. He maintained his cool, even when Duryodhana tried to put him in jail. He had forgiven Shishusupal , the Krishna Basher 100 times before chopping his head. The Lord always sided with the good.
On the contrary, if you will read the life of prophet Mohammad, he received heavenly messages from Angel Gabriel and *demanded (not requested) * that the '360 idols' of Kaaba to be removed as Islam is the only true religion. Mecca was then used to be a prime trade route and the *Quresh* tribe was in control of the *Kaaba* since (around) 450 AD. After prophet Mohammad got heavenly messages, he mocked the existing religions and asked the *Quresh /Mecca tribes to embrace Islam.
If today any one of us goes to Jama Masjid with such heavenly revelation claims of a new religion Islam-II, the new testament, what will happen to us ? Our head or hands may be chopped off with in no time.

I would urge all the Muslims to visit the Sun Temple at Konark (Orissa) and see how the hands of Idols had been chopped off by Islamic invaders.
It amazed me to note that the war against the *Quresh was not between good and evil. The objective of this war was to take control of Kaaba and destroy the idols, which was an important step for *rise of Islam.
The prophet himself had set a precedence to enforce Islamic beliefs at gun point, which the Islamic invaders followed suit.
The ancestors of all Indian Muslims were Hindus, who were most likely forcefully converted or offered jobs in Military of Islamic kings.

If we will compare Islam, Hinduism and Christianity :
Old testament had contained few violent verses : such as - stoning disobedient sons.

'Srimad Bhagbad Gita' - was told by Lord Sri Krishna with in the same context of war (like Quaran) and the Lord justified the 'war against Evil', after he himself had failed to get 5 villages for Pandavas from Duryadhana. He maintained his cool, even when Duryodhana tried to put him in jail. He had forgiven Shishusupal , the Krishna Basher 100 times before chopping his head.
The Lord always sided with the good.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 4, DHNS:
A college professor who framed a question allegedly defaming the Prophet had his right wrist chopped off by a group of unidentified persons at Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district on Sunday morning.
Police said Prof T J Joseph was returning with his family after attending church when a group of people in a Maruti Omni waylaid him near his home at Muvattupuzha. Joseph was pulled out of his car and attacked with knives and swords. His right hand at the wrist was chopped off and thrown a few metres away. The professor was rushed to a Muvattupuzha hospital and later to a multispeciality hospital in Kochi where doctors are trying to stitch together his severed wrist. He has also suffered cuts and wounds in other parts of his body.

Guiding a Non-Muslim to Islam only possible by the Grace of God. Our job is to help others *understand* Islam - that is our basic duty. And only then inshallah, will non-muslims move in the direction of becoming one of us. We must remain positive, open-minded and generous in our efforts to convey the true message.
You cannot encourage a non-muslim to be understanding and open-minded if you yourself are hot-tempered and hurling accusations at him/her. No non-muslim is going to respect you and it will certainly reflect badly on Islam if a Muslim, a representative of Islam, is narrow-minded.
I pray to Allah that we develop patience and sincerity in our efforts to bring about more tolerance in this world. Remember....every human being, regardless of whether he/she is born to Muslim or Non-Muslim parents, is born innocent and pure...it is society that influences him/her to stray from Islam and just as a person can stray, he/she can revert back and YOU can help this process.

There is a problem with all of us. Irrespective of the religion we should try to rectify our mistakes in us. If some points out our mistake he/she is not a criminal/enemy. He/she can be among our well wishes. We should blame ourselves for the wrong things happenings in our community.

Don't jump Tanweer. Don't start abusing and saying me an "ass", an avid supporter of Manoj, "snake", "gadha" etc. etc.
And my dear secular friends, please don't comapre Hindu religion with any other religion. We are proud to accept bad as bad and good as good. We are the people who protested "Sati Pratha", "Vidwa - vivah", "Bali pratha" etc. etc. and today we are fighting with caste-system (don't you see we are divided on census issue as well), khap system etc. etc. These things are bad elements and we do have courage to say good to good and bad to bad.
So if there is something bad in other religion why people are having issues in accepting those, instead you are living in pseudo secularism era and strated fighting like a kid. Oh please don't tell me who are you to decide what is good and what is bad. I know my limitation and I am not deciding instead putting my views (Boss.. jab airport pe SHOES aur BELT hath me rakhna padta hai..to bahut gussa ata hai).

Well being a true muslim how can I deny the fact that half of my family support Pakistan over India, some of them even brust crackers when Pakistan win over India. But there are some people who will blame everything on others. Apne giraban mein jhankenge to pata chalega ki problem is their between us. I have fed up living dual life where I call my self friendly muslim and peace loving when half from my family hate India.
India is great country and lets accept the fact it would not remain great if we people who lives in here hate it and support Pakistan. Lets not be part of plan. I love India.

The incident reported in Rediff.com is very sad indeed. Member of all community must condemn this incident. I wonder why vocal people (like Javed ji, Shabana ji, Sharukh Khan, Amir Khan etc) who are participating in various debates in the public forum not initiating steps to stop this.
