Howdy Folks,
Let's gear-up for this month's BigData.SG Meetup. While this may be on a short notice, We have got an exciting  lineup with generous support from Microsoft.


Agenda:

6PM to 7PM - Networking (drinks and the snacks)
7PM - Big Data Twitter Demo By Mr Vu Le, Technology Architect, Enterprise & Partner Group APAC, Microsoft.

Vu Le's Talk Description: Big Data is a hot topic in our industry. Customers are keenly interested in its potential and are asking us to demonstrate how they can leverage the Microsoft Big Data platform solve their big data challenges. In this session, we will walk through a sample Twitter analytics application which showcases our Big Data platform. This sample application uses SQL Server StreamInsight to connect to Twitter Streaming Service, displays real-time analytics in an HTM5 dashboard, saves historical data to Azure Blob Storage and Database, processes unstructured data using HadoopOnAzure (HDInsight Service), and finally visualizes data using PowerPivot/Power View.
