Hardware requirment

Is there any guidelines on bigcouch's hardware requirement.  example: Disk and File system, CPU and memory etc ?

I don't think there's any 'official' recommendations written anywhere.
But from our experience, I'd recommend at least 4 cores, 16GB RAM,
and the fastest drives you can afford. SSD drives work best but a
dedicated 7200 SATA drive will work if you need the space (and unless
you compact frequently, you'll need the space).

I'm running a test using many amazon ec2 small instances. I've configured bigcouch to use the EBS drive that comes with the instance. The database runs in the 100's of gig. So far It's working well.

(My current system is a medium EC2 instance with 800GIG of data hence my interest in bigcouch.)
