Hi every one.
I noticed in latest release that, when moderator kicks a user who is already joined to listeners window. it rejoins automatically after a few seconds.
demo server has the same behavior.
Is this on purpose?what is the concept?
Thanks

This behaviour was added intentionally. The client will now
automatically reconnect to the voice bridge if its connection is lost
for any reason. This behaviour was added to improve resiliency on
unreliable Internet connections.

We are likely to remove the kick user tool in an upcoming release, or
enable it only as a debug tool. It's not particularly useful, since you
are able to prevent a connected user from making noise with the Mute and
Lock controls.

The problem that has come up is while recording a session, in order to stop
the recording, all people must be out of the session.  If someone walks away
from their computer, or a novice user for some reason does not logout, the
recording will continue for hours.  Kicking people at the end of the conference
serves a useful purpose.  Maybe an "End Conference" option instead of
kicking everyone.  I just had a conference go on recording for an extra
hour, so I speak from experience.
Thank you for your work,
Gene in VA.

Hi Gene,

You can set a duration for the meeting on create, which will end it when the time limit reaches.  Also, the ability to send an 'end' command to the server is a function of the 3rd party integration.

For example, the Moodle integration provides the ability for a teacher to end the session after they exit.  See

around the 3:00 mark.

Regards,... Fred
