bigbluebutton 081-dev on AWS EC2

Hi , 

We are new to Bigbluebutton, we are just install a 0.81-dev version to our EC2 environment with a new separate instance based on construction at:

after reboot, we use command " sudo bbb-conf --watch" to check the status to monitor the system log when we are going thru "desktop sharing" session,

however , we found below error message, Would any expert kindly help to explain what is below message is related with which setting ?

Besides, we also got 2 major error  after "sudo bbb-conf --clean"

Calvin,

Make sure that you have your permissions set correctly for /var/bigbluebutton/deskshare. The permissions for deskshare should be rwxr-xr-x and the owner should be red5 red5.

Those two errors that you got from bbb-conf --clean aren't errors they're just warnings and won't impact performance at all.

Hi Calvin,

We recommend you wait until we release 0.81-beta.  We're nearing the end of development and testing for 0.81-dev.  

Once we have a beta released, you should have a much better experience with the install.
