Video Calls to Conference

Hi :-)

I would like to know if it´s possible to make a video call to a room from BigBlueButton with a softphone and if it´s possible how. With a Trunk we can make audio connections without a problem, but I don´t know how can it be with video too.

Hi Sandra,

It's not possible to make a video call from a soft phone to a BigBlueButton session.  The video path is independent from the audio path in BigBlueButton and does not go through FreeSWITCH, whereas a video call from a soft phone would need to go through FreeSWITCH.

It would be possible to bridge the two, but that work is not planned on our roadmap.  For more information on how we choose features for a release, see
