I may have misunderstood the FAQ of BBB.
my question specially refers to the question "How do I setup new classrooms in BigBlueButton?"
Here there are two options:
1) using Sakai, Moodle, Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, or other systems that already have a BigBlueButton integration.
2) create your own virtual classrooms by modifying this Demo Page on a BigBlueButton server.

As i have no programming knowledge or skill, I preferred the first one. Accordingly I've installed wordpress with a bigbluebutton integration and configured it successfully.
At least that is my belief.
a) seemingly created test rooms (screen shot)
b) the servers (bbb and wp) are running on different machines (bbb on ubuntu 10.04, wp on win 7 (apache))
c) the demos (from demo1 - demo9) are purged from bbb-server.
d) clean and check commands haven been done.

Doing all these what must i expect  as an outcome when i call my bbb-web (www.mybbb.edu) site? Is it ok when i get the bbb demo site (screen shot)?
My understanding of installing wordpress and integrating bbb plugin is that i could have an admin page where i can direct and control users who have access to my bbb-website.
But here this is not the case. I got always bbb-demo page and there is no login page for users.

I appreciate your help and explanation.
thank you in advance.

Hi Tedbir,

> what must i expect  as an outcome when i call my bbb-web (www.mybbb.edu) site

End users will not access your BigBlueButton site directly as there is no front-end on the web site.  Think of the BigBlueButton server as your collaboration server and the WordPress site as your front-end.

Direct your users to your WordPress (or Joomla, or Moodle, or Sakai, etc.) site.  From there, they use the WordPress interface to log into rooms.

Once they use WordPress to join a room, the BigBlueButton WordPress plugin will call the BigBlueButton server to create the room and redirect the users to join -- all using the BigBlueButton API.

So, if you have two servers

and

Direct you users to http://www.mysite.edu/.  If they try to access http://www.mybbb.edu/, recommend you modify the file

  /var/www/bigbluebutton-default/index.html

to redirect them to http://www.mysite.edu/.  For information on how to setup a redirect file, see

If the above is not clear enough, please post setup/configuration related questions to bigbluebutton-setup mailing list.  We'll help you there as this mailing list is more for end-user questions.

Regards,... Fred
