Matterhorn integration with text-slides.

Hello,

I found the text slides and a each slides (also pdf file) in a directory inside /var/bigbluebutton/ but I dont see them on inside zip file that is copied to matterhorn.

Could you tell me if bbb can send pdf2text info to matterhorn?

Hi Hernan,

It's a good suggestion to send the tex of the slides to Matterhorn.  There is potential for Matterhorn to do full-text indexing of the slides instead of having it do OCR on the videos.

We're still working on integrating with Matterhorn 1.4 and getting 0.81 to beta.  We've opened an issue to track the integration of full text with Matterhorn.  See

I’m 100% agree with you !!

The pontencial for MH is important.

BBB can send the text and MH can put it in OCR also in different languages.

 

What if I do a test making my own .zip including the slides and text ? did you test that?
