This may be documented somewhere and I just can't find it, but could someone confirm the minimum supported versions of Adobe Flash Player and Java (for desktop sharing)? We work in a largely locked down environment and the minimums for 0.8 are fine and I'm trying to evaluate potential problems.

The 0.81 client is currently being compiled for FP 11.2. I'm not sure if it would work for a newer version or not.

The Java version for the new desktop sharing app is I believe still 6, but it might have been changed to 7.

Hi Jeremy,

Currently, the minimum flash version in the code is 11.0

swfobject.embedSWF("BigBlueButton.swf?v=VERSION", "altFlash", "100%", "100%", "11.0.0", "expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

Java 6 is supported, but *everyone* should be using Java 7 as Java 6 is no longer supported by Oracle.

Regards,... Fred

Thanks for the details. Helps for a long term planning with partner IT organizations.
