Webcam shows the opposite image

Hello

         BBB seems to show the webcam video in an opposite way. This is NOT the upside down image issue. A person standing right to me shows up left to me in the webcam. Is there any fix for this kind of configuration on BBB or some client side configuration?

Hi Gowtham,

Can you provide details so we can try and reproduce.  Specifically, the OS, web browser, Flash version, webcam, and any drivers.

Can you also test against 

  http://demo.bigbluebutton.org/ (0.80)

  http://dev081.bigbluebutton.org/ (0.81-dev)

and let us know if you see the same results.

Yes I have the same experience on demo BBB site as well. 

OS: Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit, Windows 7 32-bit 

Browser: Chrome 24.0.1312.56

Webcam : Dell laptop in built webcam

Flash version: 11.5.31.137

PFA, here I was waving my right hand and shows on left hand side in the browser

Hi Gowtham,

The webcam shows up you how others see you, as if they are in front of you. 

Maybe in the preview the webcam should act like a mirror, I guess that is what you expect.
