Hi,

How can I estimate the costs of BBB compared to commercial products like blackboard collaborate, webex and adobe connect?

Let's say I have 2K or 10K students and I want to let teachers create rooms without limiting them.
I'll only use audio with up to 25 users in a room.
I'm not sure how to estimate how many concurrent rooms I'll have at the same time (maybe someone can help?).
Is it possible to roughly estimate how many BBB servers I'll need?

Does someone know what are the costs of blackboard collaborate (or other products) for this scale?
The only info I found is - about $15K/yr (doesn't specify the number of students):

Thanks

You will need to look at TCO (Total Cost of ownership)

Total cost to serve 10K students requires a full time staff of tech
people if you do it yourself. When you add the cost of labor, and
expertise needed to keep running it will be significant.

You also need to determine the "peak" requirements for concurrent
usage and design for this load.

That's why I'm asking for help.
If someone working with this number of students can estimate the cost of BBB compared to commercial products.
It's hard to find true pricing details.
