Big Smith was a part of history at the huge - estimated 60,000 in
attendance - Roots, Blues & BBQ Festival September 7-8 in Columbia,
Mo. The band packed Peace Park of the Mizzou campus for their limited
set. (As we know, when they hit Columbia, Big Smith can play all night
long - or at least until the law shuts them down at 1 a.m..) But the
structure of the festival limited them to about 70 minutes. No encore.
Still, always good to see them, and I hope they enjoyed the ribs!

The last time i got to see Big Smith was in springfield, mo and that
was at an outdoor show on commercial street.

it has been WAY too long.......
