You can order now, although we won't ship until 11th Jan.
thanks,
Biff.

The Genesys website is fairly terse but based upon the following link
SDIO is not available, Biff can you confirm? Link:

Correct, there is no SDIO support.

Do the pin-headers come pre-soldered, or is it like the original
bifferboard where we have to add them ourselves?
The serial-pinout is unfortunately slightly different - are you
planning to ship some kind of 'adaptor' with the boards, so we can use
our existing console cables?
Presumably we could just copy an existing (unmodified?) rootfs onto a
SD card, and the kernel would just load root from that (i.e. it would
appear as /dev/sda1 ?), giving us two free USB ports?
Could you update the wiki page to say if the button is still GPIO15 ?
What does the non-SMT LED on the IO board indicate?
Maybe biffboot needs to be clarified WRT what 'boot from MMC' means,
now that there's two mmc-connection options ;)

Removing R37 and R38 on the CPU board should do the trick, however I
haven't tested this yet, so therefore haven't written it up.

Headers are as pictured.

No. I plan to start providing keyed serial connectors to prevent
incorrect connection. So far the majority of boards we get back seem
to have faulty console port but with everything else working, leading
me to suspect the current 3-pin arrangement leads to people plugging
in the wrong way round and damaging the RDC CPU. I may be on the
wrong track, but I feel better safe than sorry.

Yes.

It is.

It's for the SD card.

Maybe....

1 - Any pictures of the case for the 2 port bifferboards ?
2 - Can you use both USB sockets and the SD card at the same time ?
Cheers

For those interested in a photo of the 2xUSB version, it's likely to
be the same as this: http://www.mrt-communication.com/NAS-R104.htm
They also ofered a 2xUSB version without SD card but gigabit LAN.
