Has anyboy sucessfully installed a Java 6 JDK on the bifferboard?
OpenWRT has only a JamVM package which is Java 5 only and I need some
Java 6 features.
Sun JDK does not start, I guess that some libs are missing, but
OpenWRT gives me no helpful error message ("not found").
Anybody already using Sun JDK on the bifferboard? Or OpenJDK?

Can't say i've played with it myself. If your using a static build of
Sun's JDK it doesn't suprise me that it doesn't work, as it is no
doubt built against Glibc instead of uClibc.

Compiling a JRE/JDK can be a right pain, though I would imagine you
would have more luck with OpenJDK. From a simplistic point of view if
you need to run a JDK then I would suggest looking at using either
Slackware or Debian on the Bifferboard as there are pre-build packages
and it would save you having to compile your own.

Ok, migrated to Slackware, not the original Sun JDK 1.6 runs fine :)
