If you have a friend who has free shipping...

Apparently these are fully supported in linux too (mines are still in
the post, but I got early warning)

With a bit of hackery, you might be able to fit a bifferboard IN the chassis !

No hoarding, leave some for everyone :-)

That's a really good spot!!

I've just ordered a couple, really looking forward to getting hold of one and doing a bit of hackery ;)

I've got mine arriving this Saturday, so will be connecting them up
and seeing what is compatible etc. Also plan to take one apart and get
some pics etc, see how much space is available, and look and fitting
the BB directly into it.

Just got mine, connected it up to an Ubuntu system to see what is
supported OOTB:

Ethernet:   Yes (shows up as ADMtek Pegasus II USB-2.0 Ethernet) with
the pegasus module
Audio: Yes (shows up as C-Media USB Headphone Set) with the snd-usb-
audio module
Serial: Yes (shows up as generic serial interface) with the usbserial
module
VGA: Yes (shows up as SIS USB) with the sisusbvga module

It seems that all of the devices are supported in Linux, I haven't
cracked one open yet to see how much space is inside, but plan to
shortly. Will also be compiling a new BB install to see how it goes
etc.

Sounds promising. For a long time I would like to add extra VGA to my
Ubuntu system for the terminal screens when (trying to) compile
stuff....

Building the bifferboard inside it would be great, hope to get rid of
the external USB - Audio and USB - RS232 device that way which are
connected to the bifferboard at this moment.

@Michael: Thanks for the message !!

Ordered 6 to the Dutch Mainland today.

Regards,
Ben

Has anyone worked out how to get these things open?  There are no obvious

might have screws under them.

Yup, have opened one but haven't taken pictures yet, There are 5
screws underneath (2 under each of the rubber panels), and one under
the center label. Once they are undone it just pulls apart.

On an interesting note, the VGA adapter can be detached inside,
potentially for upgrade or for replacement. It would make space for
the BB (with some modification), or would allow a better-spec adapter
to be fitted. I'm currently looking at replacing the built-in VGA
adapter with a DisplayLink one (as my patches have now been accepted
into the mainline).

Bit of a bump  but

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KENSINGTON-SD100-UNIVERSAL-LAPTOP-NOTEBOOK-...

Seams to be the same type of product and whilst it cant beat the price
of that one that OP posted might be a useful addition to the board
