Two renowned journalists join the convener of ALA's Center for Public Life for a lively discussion of possibilities when libraries and journalists work together to encourage community conversations.  Join the discussion and help shape the future of libraries and journalism!
Panelists

Bill Densmore, career journalist and organizer of Beyond Books, is also a publisher, entrepreneur and director of the Media Giraffe Project, New England News Forum, and a collaborator on Journalism That Matters.

Mike Fancher is the 2011-2012 Donald W. Reynolds Chair in the Ethics of Entrepreneurial and Innovative Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno, and a consultant to the Knight Commission on the Information Needs of Communities in a Democracy.

Nancy Kranich is a past president of ALA, an organizer of Beyond Books, and the convener of ALA's Center for Public Life.
