Hi:

I am experiencing some problems in dereferencing BIBO ontology URLs.
If I have this

bibo:pageEnd

say, which is short for

http://purl.org/ontology/bibo/pageEnd

this gets expanded as

http://bibotools.googlecode.com/svn/bibo-ontology/tags/1.3/bibo.xml.owlpageEnd

which does not work.

However,

http://bibotools.googlecode.com/svn/bibo-ontology/tags/1.3/bibo.xml.owl#pageEnd

does work.

Has the "#" gone missing somehow?

Thanks,

Tony

Uhoh, this sounds like it is related to

http://groups.google.com/group/bibliographic-ontology-specification-group/browse_thread/thread/fcf913afe75a1d9b

i.e. me: "Maybe removing the final # in Purl control panel settings would help?"

Hi all,

Yes, that is the problem. I will have to check what is broken and if
there is a way to fix it via purl. Otherwise, I will have to think of
another solution. Will quickly check what I can do from here, otherwise
I will have to postpone a bit if it needs some bigger changes
considering my other current tasks.

Dan: I may have to switch back to the # temporarily because Tony is not
the first person to report this since I made the change.

Thanks!

Fred

I switched back to the partial redirect purl using "#". However, the
error is returned by the google code web servers and not purl. So what I
will probably have to do, is to move the files on another server. Will
have to check that later.

Thanks,

Fred
