Gas pipeline supplying Israel blown up in Egypt
The blast near the city of al-Arish in Sinai close to the Israeli
border caused 50-foot high flames, witnesses said.

The Telegraph UK
Security sources and witnesses blamed unknown assailants for the
explosion at the pipeline which supplies Israel and Jordan.
It is not yet known whether there were any casualties at the
plant, which is owned by Gasco, a subsidiary of the national gas
company EGAS.
Since former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ousted in
February the pipeline has been repeatedly blown up by attackers
believed to oppose to selling of Egyptian gas to Israel.
Egypt has been trying to renegotiate gas prices with Israel and
Jordan amid charges of corruption.
The attack is the fifth act of sabotage at this year after four
masked men blew up the terminal in July.
