Earthquake rattles central Greece*

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the open-ended Richter scale shook
central Greece early Friday but was not reported to have caused any
damage or injuries, seismologists at an Athens observatory said.
The epicentre of the tremor, which struck at 2:46 am (0046 GMT), was
located about 15 kilometres (nine miles) east of the town of Naupacte,
about 160 kilometres (100 miles) west of Athens.
