Canada: Massive Hail storm pounds Calgary, yet again

The clean-up began Monday morning after another massive hail storm
hammered parts of Calgary Sunday afternoon.
Southern communities like Evergreen, Bridlewood, Shawnessy and
Midnapore were pounded by toonie-sized hail.
At one point, drivers were pulling under overpasses, trying to take
shelter.
Sunday's storm is just the latest in a summer that has been brutal for
wicked weather.
Trees have been shredded and gardens have been destroyed with leaves
scattered all over roads.
But it seems all the nasty storms are becoming the norm for Calgarians
660News spoke with on Monday morning, after a summer of more severe
weather than usual.
"You see the dark sky forming and you just clear all your plants off
the deck," says one gardener.
This comes a month after Calgary's most damaging hail storm ever, on
July 12th.
