A DEEP 7.4-magnitude earthquake has struck between Fiji and Tonga.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre says the quake hit at 5.30am
(AEST) today about 120km southwest of Fiji's Ndoi Island and 400km
from the Tongan capital of Nuku'alofa.
It was 612km deep and was not felt by authorities in either
country.
