Strong 5.2 earthquake reported off Oregon coast; felt in Northern California

Earthquake Location A magnitude 5.2 earthquake was reported in the Pacific Ocean off the southern Oregon coast on Tuesday afternoon.
The temblor struck at 2:01 p.m. 145 miles west of Coos Bay. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it was felt in parts of Northern California as well as Oregon.
Coos Bay is about 177 miles north of Eureka, which has been the site of several major earthquakes in recent decades.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. It's unclear which fault line the quake occurred on.
