AN earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 struck off the coast of Costa Rica today.
The US Geological Survey said the epicentre of the quake was located 88km south of the capital of San Jose, at a depth of 52.9km.
No tsunami warning was immediately issued and there are no immediate reports of injuries or damage
