The death toll in a tornado that hit Turkey's eastern province of Elazig on Monday has risen to six, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
Elazig Governor Muammer Erol was quoted as saying that the tornado hit a construction shipyard in Maden town of Elazig province on Monday evening, killing four workers on the spot and injuring eight others.
Two of the injured workers died on the way to a hospital for medical treatment, said Erol.
