Strong Earthquake Shakes Western Nepal

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Pokhara city in western Nepal on Saturday afternoon, damaging few houses, but no human casualties has been reported so far.
National Seismological Center said that the quake was centered 23 kilometers North in Thumkodanda and Namarjung Village Development Committee, some 200 km west of Kathmandu.
Police said a wall of houses belonging to a local people were cracked due to the quake. Similarly, the building of Area Police Station also suffered minor damages. Enditem
