Thank you to all the parents and community members who came out to vote and support our school district. We appreciate all your support.

 

FROM THE BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP PUBLIC LIBRARY: All teens are invited to attend our Teen Advisory Board Open House on May 22 from 4-5 p.m.  Find out about all of the great things our members do to make a difference at the Library and in our community.  Applications for next year’s Board will be available.  No registration is needed.  

Congratulations to 7th grader Divya Moudgil who was chosen as the recipient of an Honorable Mention Award in the 2012 DuPont Challenge© Science Essay Competition!  With more than 9,000 entries received, her essay was selected as one of the Honorable Mention awards.   For her achievement, she will receive a $200 U.S. Savings Bond and a personalized certificate. 

 

Attention 8^th grade girls & their parents: If you are interested in trying out for the Andover Girls Golf Team this fall: Please attend an important parent/athlete meeting next Tuesday May 15th at 7pm in Andover's Media Center.

 

Reminder: The next School Store is next week….Wednesday, May 16, during all lunches.

 

6^th – 8^th grade Progress Reports will be carried home by students next Wednesday (May 16). As a reminder, students grades are also available via Parent Connect.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DATES:

* Registration begins Monday, April 9, 2012
* Summer school hours for Physical Education & Health Education classes are 7:30 AM–1:00 PM, Monday – Friday from June 25 through July 11 (no class on July 4)

* Summer school hours for E2020 Virtual Learning classes/computer lab are 7:30 AM-1:00 PM, Monday – Thursday. Students must be in attendance on June 25-27 and July 12-13 & July 16. NOTE: All E2020 cumulative exams MUST be taken on-site.
* All classes are available for credit advancement, credit recovery and grade replacement
* Cost: PE & Health for BH resident - $225 ; Non-resident - $275
* Cost: E2020/Virtual for BH resident - $200; Non-resident - $225

Please join us at the Bloomfield Township Public Library to celebrate the opening of a special K-12 student art exhibition from the Bloomfield Hills Schools Visual Arts Program, “Art From the Hills.”

18 artists from West Hills will have their artwork displayed.

As a reminder, you need to re-enroll to continue earning in the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  All participants must sign up for the program in order to earn funds during 2012-2013.

Even if you have  signed up for Kroger Community Rewards in February or March of this year—which will help us earn funds as part of the 05/2011 to 05/2012 program—you must re-enroll after April 1^ST  2012, to continue earning rewards during the coming year, 05/2012 to 05/2013.

It’s easy to enroll or re-enroll in Kroger Community Rewards. You simply visit www.krogercommunityrewards.com, click on “Michigan” and click on “Enroll” to register for the first time and “Re-enroll” to re-register.  All participants must have a valid online account at Kroger.com and must sign up online to participate.
