Hi there! I now just have one adult ticket for sale. I am coming and bringing our six-year old. See you there! Just let me know if anyone needs one ticket. Did Broughton win last night? Did everyone have a great time? I hate we missed it!
Thanks, Angela Sikes Krause

The Class of 1987 Reunion Planning Committe ROCKS!
Thank you for everything you did to pull this together! We could tell that you put a lot of your time and hearts into this wonderful reunion!
Thanks to all of the folks who came from near and far! I had a blast, my 6 year old said about the pig pickin', " that was better than I thought it was going to be! I don't want to leave!" and my sweet husband said he had a lot of fun too and that I "went to school with a lot of great people!" I agree and will miss you all until next time!
Please keep sending in your bios, it has turned into my soap opera, I am addicted and enjoy reading them all every night! Sorry, Dana I know that means more work for you! Thanks for doing all of that too!
Please come by some time if you live in Raleigh and see me at one of the stores. I am usually at dilly dally on Falls of Neuse but in the next couple of weeks will be Oh Baby! at it's new location in North Hills trying to get the place up and running!
It was so great to see you all!
Sincerely, Angie Angela Sikes Krause

Hey Marty, I hear ya! I had tied one on at ESS (for some of you that is pronounced S and not E-S-S ) the night prior, so I apologize for not being more upbeat. By the time I got home I was so dead tired, that I actually slept in my bed without sheets. Angela, your stores are the best. I always buy baby shower gifts from you. Good luck with the new store, I know you'll do great. The Reunion Committee does rock. I can't wait for the next one and if there is anything I can do to help, please, by all means, do let me know, especially if you are going to have it at The Raleigh Times. I love that place. It was great to see everyone again. Some of you I didn't get a chance to say hello or I just plain didn't recognize. 20 years of wear and tear on the eyes is to blame, I believe or not enough light. Oh! Before I forget, my personal email is _Thebre...@aol.com_ (mailto:Thebre...@aol.com) for those of you who took pictures. Wanda, I know you got quite a few and you know there is one in particular that I want! Wink, wink. Hugs all around, Breshnaa

Yeah, I know what you mean. I haven't closed down a bar in a long time. Class of 87 rocks!!! Thanks to all who put it together I was impressed. I didn't come home until 5:00 o clock and I feel not so good, but great in knowing I can still hang. I hope to stay in contact with you all. Until next time Henry

Hey y'all, Thanks so, so, so much to everyone for making the 20th reunion a booming success. Harriet, Bret, Jonathan, and John D were key in getting everything together. Also thanks to Marianne, Carson, Casey, and Steva who made the mailing possible. Thanks, too, to everyone who lent me their photos and sent in bios. The bios idea came from another BHS site, http://www.BHS87.com, and really helped provide some lead up to the big event.
The funniest thing from the weekend was having it explained to me why Markham Carr's wife, Mercedes, kept her maiden name. The greatest site of the weekend, though, came at around 1:00 on Friday night when there was an incredibly diverse group of people all talking with each other. I've been to other reunions from BHS and other schools and the cliques mostly stayed isolated. (just for the record; I'm NOT a "reunion crasher") The Class of 1987 is truly the "class" of Broughton.
This really felt more like a wedding, though. I got to spend a small fraction of the desired time with each person. I regret that I didn't get to talk to Maria, Cammy, Sharon, Louise, Marty, and many others more. By the time we took care of the bill with the bar, y'all were all out on the dance floor and I just wanted to talk to people!!
I also regret that the drink tickets became invalid at 11pm. Now....many had already used theirs by then :), but some, like myself, still had some when the bar wanted to settle up. If we had foreseen that we would have given everyone a heads-up, but sorry about that anyway.
I really really want a copy of that picture of me with the Richmond and Solomon twins. Just for the record; I DON'T have a twin fetish. It just isn't often when you are friends of two sets of identical twins.
I woke up this morning thinking about Karen Nowell playing pool. She plays by different rules, apparently, because she was hitting the "2" ball to knock down the cue ball...and taking it quite seriously. Some guy started hitting on her and Lisa Bianchi said,"ooooh. He doesn't know what he's getting into." HA HAA!! Karen is, and always has been lovable.
We'll get info on obtaining a copy of the video up on the website, soon. So, keep checking back. In the meantime, send in those bios!!

I have to admit 2:30 in the morning being asked to leave the bar with Dana I could not understand how he could still be as pressed as when he first arrived how does he do it thanks again everyone for a great time Henry

Another THANKS to the group for putting together a rocking night. WOW the day after hurts more at thirty something doesn't it? I actually tried to take my three kids to church Sunday, it was not pretty. Some kind of weird mixture of feeling blessed and asking forgiveness and praying the Advil would kick in. Hee Hee! :)
Question - Dana can you send me contact info for Ms. White? and can you post all the pictures submitted prior to the big event and ones that people took ( that aren't too scary?)
I feel the urge to go listen to old Prince, Violent Femmes and Beastie Boys tunes....
