Hi there,

I'd start saying how much I love all the *Better* extensions, but I'm
sure you already get plenty of praise, so I'll keep it brief. I
love'em too! :-)

Anyways, I'm using FFx3.1b2 with Nightly Tester tools and Better Gmail
2 seems to work fine.

I've never developed a Firefox plugin, and I don't know what checks
need to be done before marking it as "works with FFx3.1", but I'm
starting this topic to track support for it.

Thanks again for the extensions!

I can confirm: Better Gmail 2 does work with the latest Firefox 3.1
beta. I'm sure I set up that compatibility within the extension
correctly, but for some reason Mozilla Add-ons still lists it as
incompatible. If you install it from the Lifehacker page, you should
have no problem.

I just futzed with the settings on the Mozilla Add-ons web site and
specified again that it's 3.1b2-compatible, but it's still not listed
correctly. Not sure why, but I can assure you that it is.

Hey Gina!

I know it is compatible, as I said, I'm using the Nightly tester tools to "force compatibility".

Would installing it from the lifehacker source include autoupdates? Thats the one reason I use the Mozilla Add-ons version instead.

Thanks for your time!

Yes, it would. In fact, downloads from the LH page will give you
faster auto-updates because the new version wouldn't be subject to
Mozilla Add-on's approval process delay (which is usually about a day
or so).
